Terms of Service

General

  • All rights are reserved by Snow Hunter (the artist). The artist holds the copyright of the commissioned model. The commissioner receives a license to use the model as detailed in the following terms.

  • I am not responsible for any software or hardware related issues.

  • I cannot guarantee that a full body model will fully match your proportions, as I base it off the concept art that you provide.

  • Sending this request does not guarantee that your commission will be accepted.

  • I reserve the right to decline a commission without reason.

  • You can request that the commission be kept Private until the model has been used/debuted. This privacy will last at most 6 months after completion of commission, after which I am allowed to post about and show the model.

  • Using or feeding any of my work, commissioned or not, into AI is strictly prohibited.

  •  The commission prices listed are exclusive of commercial rights. Commercial rights, terms, and pricing can be discussed.

Intellectual property rights

  • By default, you do not own the rights to redistribution of any of my work. If you want to sell the 3D model, redistribute the model, or make the model publicly available, we can discuss these terms. This will add a commercial fee to the commission.

  • You do not have the right to transfer ownership and/or copyright to anyone. If you wish to discuss the possibility of this, contact me.

  • If you want to create merchandise using the model or based on the model - e.g. Prints / Figures / Stickers / etc. - will require commercial rights, the fee of which can be discussed.

  • All preparation materials, visuals and sketches, including all electronic files used to create the project remain the property of me.

  • I retain full rights to post pictures and videos of the model on any platform.

  • The artist reserves the right to revoke the permissions granted to the commissioner if any of the terms and conditions have been violated.

  • You may freely crop and upload images/videos of the model. However editing the model (e.g. adding filters, changing colors, changing the model, etc.) is only permitted with explicit permission from me. Credit for the model to me is still required in all cases.

Payment Policy

  • Payment will be done through PayPal.

  • Commissions under $500 must be paid in full up front.

  • Commissions over $500 can be paid in half first before work begins, the second half paid after the commission is finished but before the artist sends the file(s) to the commissioner. The commissioner must only send payment through the corresponding invoice. Payment sent through any other means will be accepted as a tip.

  • The artist reserves the right to charge more for complexity, tight deadlines, ect.

  • If Privacy is requested, a fee of +50% of the total price is added to the commission.

Revisions

  • I only do revisions up to a certain point. I will communicate about revisions throughout the process.

  • If a revision is large, I will require additional payment.

  • Once the commission is complete and I have delivered all the files to you, you have 1 week to review the model and ask for revisions and fixes.

Delivery 

  • When the full price is paid, a copy of the model files and accompanying texture files, along with any other files you will need to use the model will be sent to the commissioner.

  • Once the model is delivered you are required to credit me in any credits list that you have.

Refunds

  • If you cancel the commission, no money already paid to the commission will be refunded. I retain full rights to the model, files, and artwork that I have produced for the commission.

  • In case of cancellation from my part, all money paid to the commission will be refunded. All files made for the commission will be disposed of.

  • No refund will be given for completed work, no matter the reason.

Communication

  • After filling the application, I will contact you with my questions and/or concerns about the commission.

  • Once the commission has started, I will send updates to you at each milestone. These updates are for you to review the progress and discuss any revisions or feedback you might have.

  • I will contact you during the commission with any questions I might have, so please be available to answer.

  • Severe lack of communication will be seen as cancellation of the commission on your part.
